Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) 

 

For new gun owners in the State of Maryland, this is where your journey begins. We offer a state-approved firearms safety training course specially crafted to fulfill the requirements of the Handgun Qualification License (HQL).​ Don't need the license but looking for an educational firearms safety class? This class will give you what you need.  

 

  • $90 per student

  • Onsite Fingerprinting available (additional fees)

  • 4 hour class

  • Minimum student 6

Private Lessons 

 

Give yourself the Tactical Advantage with a private one-on-one lesson with one of our Certified Instructors. At LTTC we cater to shooters at all levels. From beginning shooters to the advanced enthusiast, our instructors are available for private sessions to help you hone your skills.

 

  • $70 per hour

  • Private shooting lesson is for one hour private one-on-one with a certified instructor

  • Family and/or small group rate sessions also available

  • You may add on additional people at $20 a person

  • Ammo is not included

  • Firearm rental optional

Maryland Handgun Wear and Carry
(Concealed Carry Permit)
 
Satisfy the Maryland State training requirement for a Concealed Weapons Permit application and recertification. Through two days of training, you will learn legal aspects regarding the use of deadly force, and establish the vital skills to effectively employ the use of a handgun for self-defense.

Basic Handgun Course

 

This class is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of how to safely handle, function and shoot a handgun. Perfect for new or novice shooters, this is a low-stress, fun-oriented course that instills comfort and confidence. Following a classroom lecture covering an assortment of topics, students participate in "dry" drills where they learn to safely handle and function their handgun before firing any shots. Students are then put through a series of live-fire drills where they practice all the topics covered in the classroom.

 

  • Includes a 2 hour group session at range

  • 4 hour course (class/range)

  • If student owns a handgun it should be used for the course, if not one will be provided 

  • Student will provide 50 rounds of ammo

  • Minimum students 6/max 12

CONCEALED CARRY SKILL DEVELOPMENT (Beginner/Intermediate)
(SHOOT DON'T SHOOT)

 

Designed to transition the participant from a traditional static live fire environment into a more realistic pistol use while drawing from a holster; shooters will be guided through weapons manipulation drills with live role players.  Using simunitions technology, students will be put in the most realistic environment possible.  Scenarios are designed to mimic a robbery, car jacking, and other realistic settings.  Skill Drills will include drawing from concealment, garment clearing, loading/unloading, and malfunction clearing.  Each drill will help ensure the shooter will leave with the knowledge, skills, and ability to survive and prevail in a deadly force encounter.

Enjoy a training environment like no other.  Live role players, simunition firearms, and training like you have never trained.

Multi-State Conceal Carry Course

(Utah Non-Resident Permit)  Finally Here!

​

The Utah Concealed Carry Permit Course is a 4 hour in classroom training course only.The Utah Concealed Carry Permit allows the permit holder to carry their firearm concealed in 30+ states.These states may change at any time. It is up to the individual permit holder to check the Utah’s Bureau of Criminal Identification’s website for any updates.- http://bci.utah.gov/concealed-firearm/reciprocity-with-other-states/

Why would I get the Utah Concealed Carry Permit if I can’t use it in MD?

  • You can carry a concealed firearm in over 30 states in the U.S.

  • When you travel you tend to carry more money, are more vulnerable, and could potentially end up in a high crime area.

  • Travel in different states for work.

Active Shooter Training  

 

This specialized training is designed to provide you with information to help to protect yourself and others in case of an active shooter situation. This training is geared to your needs. It can be a lecture covering what to do in case of an active shooter in your work place; up to live simulations geared to your business.

Course Cancellation Policy:

 

We are looking forward to having you join us for a LTTC Safety course. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Registration is not confirmed until paid in full. 

 

We understand that cancellations or schedule changes are sometimes inevitable. The following policies are necessary to insure that we stay in business for the next time you join us:

 

You may withdraw from a course up to 7 days before the start date without cost. If you need to cancel your registration, please email: LTTCSafety@comcast.net or call (240) 277-0439. 

 

NO REFUNDS will be issued if you cancel a course 7 days or less prior to the scheduled course date.  
NO REFUNDS or rescheduling will be issued if you do not show for registered course. 

 

Courses can only be attended by the person/family who registered. They cannot be transferred to another party.

 

LTTC Safety Consulting, LLC reserves the right to cancel a course when the required minimum enrollment is not met or inclement weather. Earliest notification will be given and the participant will receive a full refund.
